“Orodè is developing a body of work that is virtually unique on the Italian scene. In his hands, the practice of mosaic takes on a contemporary face —pop in its colors, yet powerful in its content.”
— Alessandra Redaelli, Arte Mondadori (2018)

I am delighted to present my latest monumental works at Museo Mater Domini, an extraordinary open-air museum located in a former Pietra Leccese quarry near Lecce.
Founded by my close friend and fellow sculptor Dario Giancane, this space creates a powerful dialogue between nature and human creativity. Among my three permanently installed pieces is the 15-meter-long ceramic mosaic inscription "Mater Domini". Masterfully embedded into the quarry's characteristic stone walls, this monumental artwork was created in 2024 in close collaboration with Dario Giancane and my brother, Dario Dieci.
A major exhibition curated by Andrea Novembre, featuring large-scale installation wall works where my contemporary ceramic mosaic dialogue and merge with photography. A unique artistic collaboration alongside photographer Camilla Filograna and sculptor Dario Giancane.
An anthological exhibition curated by Maria Agostinacchio and Andrea Novembre, showcasing my most significant artworks. The selection traces a profound creative journey, from the pieces created in my Milanese atelier (2015–2017) to those born in my Lecce studio from 2019 onwards.
This volume presents my triptych dedicated to Saint Joseph of Cupertino, exploring the deep connection between my visual art and the poetic vision of the great Carmelo Bene. The publication features prestigious critical essays by philosopher Massimo Donà, architect Fabio Novembre, and poet Simone Giorgino.
A solo exhibition curated by Lucilla Tauro, showcasing fifteen artworks including contemporary sculptures and ceramic mosaics. The exhibition also featured a specially crafted mosaic portrait of the gallerist herself.
Three small ceramic mosaics inspired by the Hand of Fatima, rotated and reimagined as spaceships titled "Space Fatima". Permanently installed on the walls of the medieval village of Aielli (L'Aquila) during the Borgo Universo street art festival, my works now dialogue alongside monumental murals by international artists such as Okuda San Miguel, Millo, Ericailcane, Vhils, and Agostino Iacurci.
A prestigious historical and contemporary exhibition curated by Alfonso Panzetta and Daniele Torcellini, tracing the evolution of mosaic sculpture. I showcased two ceramic mosaic sculptures within a stellar line-up of masters and visionaries, including Lucio Fontana, Mirko Basaldella, Chia, Paladino, Fabio Novembre, Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, etc.
A major international solo exhibition curated by architect Fabio Novembre at the historic Chapelle Saint Eman, just steps away from Chartres Cathedral. Inspired by Charles Baudelaire's intimate writings, the exhibition featured hand-cut ceramic and epoxy grout masterpieces, alongside a brand-new series blending mosaic and painting created in collaboration with the prestigious brand Lea Ceramiche. Pictured here is the inaugural performance by my friend, the painter and performance artist Riccardo Matlakas.
A solo exhibition curated by Daniele Torcellini, featuring four intense ceramic mosaics styled in the iconic red and black colors. The artworks explore powerful symbolic icons—from a self-portrait with a football to a hypnotic mandala of trophies, a flying goalkeeper, and a poetic bicycle kick. Connecting each piece is the central motif of the net, representing both the fluid linework of my visual language and the intricate web of human relationships that binds us all together.
I received the prestigious Gold Plaque in the Sculpture category at the 2015 Premio Arte, organized by the magazine *Arte Mondadori* (Cairo Editore). The winning work—a contemporary ceramic mosaic titled "L'eternità" (Eternity)—was exhibited during the official show for finalists and winners at the historic Museo della Permanente in Milan.
Museum Acquisition: "En marche! En marche!" – MAR Museum, Ravenna (2015)
My ceramic mosaic self-portrait, "En marche! En marche!", was officially acquired by the MAR (Museum of Art of the City of Ravenna) in 2015. The artwork had been showcased the previous year in the prestigious international group exhibition "Eccentrico musivo", curated by Daniele Torcellini and Linda Kniffitz. It is now permanently displayed within the museum's historic contemporary mosaic collection—a legendary archive founded in 1959 that boasts masterpieces by modern masters like Marc Chagall, Renato Guttuso, Luigi Ontani, Mimmo Paladino, etc.
An in-depth, feature interview exploring the visceral poetic language and untraditional techniques behind my contemporary mosaic art. The article delves into the emotional power of my large-scale installations, my signature ceramic shards style, and the profound intersection between visual art, live performance, and poetry.
